Husband after death of his wife starts to feel a relief. But old apple tree in the garden again and again reminds him about his "always unhappy" wife. Just after he starts to plan to cut this tree problems came into his life. It seems as destiny didn't want him to cut it, and his wife from another world wants to be near him through this tree.
Author doesn't dive us final of this book and we don't know if main hero dies or not near apple tree, in the middle of the night.
